The Royal mail is an expensive way to communicate these days. We have come a long way since the days when a letter was the only way to get business communication from one company to another. Fax and email are lower cost alternatives but neither offers the benefits of scale like The Creditor Portal does.

We did some calculations based on a DMC sending an Offer of Payment letter by 2nd class post to a creditor, then receiving and processing the response into a Debt Management software system:

That comes to nearly a whole pound for every Offer you make to a Creditor. If you have 1000 clients on your database, with an average of 7 debts per client. You could be sending nearly 2,000 letters per month (Payment offers, balance requests and chasing letters). It doesn’t take a genius to work out that if you send more electronic communication; you will save more money and therefore make more profit.
